Thanks for dropping by!
I am Kata, a photographer whose artistic interest has always been there and who is excited to share her faith through this way.
My approach to photography began at a young age when I borrowed my dad’s camera and recorded those things that caught my attention. Afterwards, the gift of my own camera encouraged me to go beyond photographing to exploring image editing.
Over time, I have realized that it is important for me to naturally photograph the things that captured my interest. It is something I always try to do, so consequently, I avoid manipulate the scenes and the editing too much (unless this resource is essential to what I want to say).
I photograph what amazes me and I want to make it last in some way through an image. Therefore, it is essential for me to take time to contemplate and observe the scene in order to authentically capture through this artistic means what I am seeing and want to express.
I like to work with natural light, which I feel, can be a very good ally if we know how to appreciate it, and to use geometry, lines and order in my compositions.
I think that to be inspired you have to look for good sources to nourish yourself correctly. One of these is Creation: countryside, mountains, beaches, plants, animals, light. I consider that spending time in contact with this is vital not only for those who are artists. Also seeing the work of other artists is something that helps me expand my ideas.
Within this photographic journey, I have carried out some artistic projects at the School where I graduated which you can check out in this website.
I currently work as a Freelance Photographer.
Without further ado, I really appreciate that you have taken the time to visit this site.
I hope you enjoy these images, and if they speak in some way to your life, I will be more than glad of that!
